Welcome to the concluding part of our discourse. The summary of our message is that you can never move forward looking backward. Your life will always flow in the direction of your predominant focus. You have a choice to either focus on your past, represented by your pains, losses and negative experiences or on your future, inspired by your vision, faith, revelation and depth of wisdom.

1 Cor. 2:9 “But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him”.

2 Cor. 4:17 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us as far more exceeding and eternal weight of Glory” Your unpleasant situations will not last forever. God intentionally designed things and situations to keep changing particularly for the better.

How has life treated you since the beginning of this year? Have you suffered any loss or setback? Have you been battered by sickness and disease? The God of Grace will give you a better phase and season of life. All Afflictions, frustrations, setbacks are over in Jesus Name!

In 1 Peter 5:10, God says “He will make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you”.

WHAT IS SETTLEMENT?

Related News

It means basically three things:

To give or pay what is due to you. That is to say, everything that is due you, your entitlement or what destiny owes you shall be delivered to you. It also means the arrears of your delayed or denied inheritance shall be delivered to you by Divine Restoration. In 2 Sam. 9:1, 6-10 we see this kind of restoration in David and Mephibosheth. “And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake? Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant! And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. And he bowed himself, and said, What [is] thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I [am]? Then the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master’s son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house. Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in [the fruits], that thy master’s son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master’s son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.”

Settlement further means To resolve conflict or problems. It means you can expect to experience supernatural intervention on your situation as promised in Isaiah 43.1-3, “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine. When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I [am] the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.” God assures He will resolve every conflict & crises of your life. Rom. 8:31 says “What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?”

Lastly, settlement means to establish or settle down. When God settles you, He establishes you. He helps you to settle down in life. The Bible tells us how God settled King David. God gave David Roundabout Rest from all his enemies.  2 Samuel 7:1, 8-10 “And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies; Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great [men] that [are] in the earth. Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,”

This is God’s plan for everyone in a functional relationship with Him. God wants you established and settled. God wants you to recover from every loss occasioned by negative experiences in your life. However, God will not force you or force upon you these new, transforming realities. He craves your participation to manifest this divine agenda. Your participation is your personal responsibility to conceive and contribute to shaping your future.

DECISION TIME

The best gift of life is time. The best gift of time is now. The best use of now is the decision to secure and prepare for eternity. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, please don’t let this moment pass you. You’re just a decision away from a secured eternity. You can pray this prayer to surrender to Jesus: “Lord Jesus, I believe you died for me. I accept you into my life as my Saviour and Lord. Forgive my sins and give me power to live for you the rest of my life on earth”. Amen. Congratulations! If you have prayed this prayer, you are now born again. You can contact us to let us know about your decision or visit us at the address above to learn more on how to grow in your Christian life. God bless you.
