Baobab+, now Izili, has unveiled its new brand identity, solidifying its position as a last-mile distributor of affordable solar power and digital connectivity in Africa.

According to Kolawole Osinowo, Chief Executive Officer of Izili Group, the rebranding follows BioLite’s acquisition of a majority stake in April 2025, signaling a renewed focus on delivering tangible impact to end-users.

He said the new name embodies innovation in distribution, steadfast inclusion, and measurable impact, as it aims to deepen its presence in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar, and Nigeria by providing reliable energy and digital services directly to homes, small enterprises, and remote markets through its agile network of field agents.

As Izili, he said the company remains committed to its mission of energizing lives and connecting communities. “With a pledge to reinforce its last-mile network, Izili ensures clean energy and digital tools are within reach, driving economic growth, productivity, and learning opportunities. With its new identity, Izili is poised to make a significant impact in Africa’s energy and digital landscape, “ he said.
