Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH) has felicitated with Dr. Udom Inoyo, former Executive Vice Chairman, ExxonMobil Group in Nigeria, following the conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree on him by the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Akwa Ibom State.
The company, in a statement by its Managing Director/CEO, Dr. Emmanuel Okon, described Inoyo, who is also a lawyer, as deserving of the award giving his contributions to the profession, and his philanthropic gestures to Nigerians over the years.
“Udom Inoyo is a perfect fit for the honorary doctorate of law award by the Senate of the University of Uyo, giving his professional commitment, excellence and vast contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian oil and gas sector, and to humanity.
“As the progenitor of Inoyo Otoro Foundation, Dr. Inoyo has positively impacted the lives of thousands of Nigerians who have benefitted from his poverty eradication, academic scholarships, mentorship and the teacher’ training and retraining programmes embarked upon yearly by the foundation.
“We are, therefore, not surprised that the Senate of the University of Uyo found in Inoyo, a worthy candidate to be conferred with the Honorary Doctor of Law Degree during its convocation ceremony on November 11, 2023. The management of EATECH lauds Inoyo’s lifestyle of living for others, which epitomises his humanitarian inclinations, and calls on other privileged Nigerians to emulate him, while looking forward to Inoyo celebrating many more accolades in future.”
