EVA Professionals has appointed Olumide Akinpelumi as Managing Partner to strengthen leadership and expand support for clients facing complex tax, regulatory and global trade challenges.
Akinpelumi brings more than a decade of experience in tax consultancy, regulatory compliance, global trade and professional advisory. He previously served as Director in the Indirect Tax and Global Trade sub-service line at a Big Four firm in Nigeria, delivering compliance, advisory and trade services across multiple sectors to both private clients and multinationals.
His background includes direct support to the Federal Government of Nigeria on tax implementation initiatives, including those tied to the African Continental Free Trade Area. This work has given him deep insight into Nigeria’s evolving tax, customs and trade policy landscape and the practical effects of regulatory reforms on businesses and government institutions.
A long-standing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria’s Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee, Akinpelumi also holds extensive experience in real estate, construction and property development. He is a Fellow of ICAN, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting, and has lectured for over a decade at ICAN and ACCA institutions while maintaining entrepreneurial interests across sectors.
As Managing Partner, Akinpelumi will provide strategic leadership focused on technically robust, commercially relevant and innovative solutions. The firm said the appointment underscores its commitment to building stronger professional capacity so it can better serve clients operating in increasingly complex tax, regulatory and global trade environments.
