Firm announces plans to roll out AFRIQA digital platform

A technology firm, Humanity Empire Group (HEG), has announced plans to introduce a digital platform known as AFRIQA in Nigeria and other African markets.

The company said the platform is being developed to offer a range of digital services, including payment solutions, e-commerce, mobility, communication, digital identity and artificial intelligence.

According to the firm, the rollout will be carried out in phases, beginning with selected services before expanding to additional offerings.

Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Humanity Empire Group, Prof. Christopher Chinedumuije, said the initiative is intended to improve access to digital services across the continent.

The company said the platform would include digital payment services, an online marketplace, an AI-powered messaging platform, mobility services, digital identity verification and government-related digital services.

Humanity Empire Group also stated that it is engaging stakeholders in the banking, telecommunications, payments, mobility and technology sectors ahead of the planned rollout.

The firm said details of partnerships, pilot programmes and implementation timelines would be announced at a later date.
