A six-man delegation of FIFA agents in Benin on scouting mission have tipped the Super Eagles to go far at the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The scouts led by Pagni Danilo of AC Milan told Daily Sunsports that they see Nigeria emerging from Group D and going all the way. Danilo pointed out that Gernot Rohr is going to the Mundial with a bunch of young and talented players that can rattle any team.
“Argentina and Coatia cannot stop the Nigeria team from progressing to the second round of the completion. Nigeria is a great football country, from what I have seen,” Danilo said.
The CEO of Tikitaka Football Academy of Sweden Gustafssen Borje, who is also in Benin said Nigeria has what it takes to reach the semi- final.
‘’I’m very happy to be in Benin-city Nigeria for this ‘Big Job’ U-20 Gold Cup competition. I have seen good players right here that can become world football stars. We are here to scout for good, talented and disciplined young players who can ply their trade in Europe. Talking about the World Cup, I think Nigeria can play in the last four in Russia.”
