Okiki Michael, D’Tigers captain for the Second Round of the FIBA World Cup African Qualifiers in Luanda, Angola, says the match against Guinea is a must win for the team.
Okiki, a player of Gombe Bulls told Saturday SunSports that the players are not taking anything for granted.
“Guinea is a team that has been on the rise and their players are seeking to better their records but it won’t be at the expense of Nigeria. We’re aware that many may have written us off but we are determined to give our best and take a win.
Also speaking on the game, Coach Ogoh Odaudu says his team needs to win the game against Guinea to prepare them for the last game against host Angola.
“The boys have lake a difference against Guinea because it will boost our morale ahead of the game against Angola, he stated.
D’Tigers are in Group E against Cote D`Ivoire, Angola, Guinea, Cape Verde, and Angola.
