The FIBA 3×3 Africa competition has ended in Egypt and Team Nigeria finished second to clinch a silver medal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Egypt completed a perfect run in the competition with a strong 18 – 15 win over an impressive Nigerian team.
Ahmed Mohamed led his side in scoring with 7 while Mido Taha added 6, Amr Zahran capped off a 5-point display with a thunderous dunk to seal the tie in favour of the home side.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Robert Chima Ukawuba was named in the team of the tournament alongside Rami Basha (Egypt) and the tournament’s top scorer Elly Randriamampionona (Madagascar).
