Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has claimed that his arrest is imminent, adding that the federal government will come for him.
El-Rufai, who was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) before joining the Social Democratic Party (SDP), made the above allegation during an interview with BBC Hausa on Wednesday.
According to him, APC has been mounting pressure on politicians to either defect to the party or remain within its fold.

El-Rufai, who has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the current administration, alleged that others who worked with Kaduna State have already been apprehended and that they were coming for him too.
“Four people we worked with in Kaduna have been arrested; so it’s only a matter of time before they come for me too,” he said.
