Member representing Afikpo/Edda Federal Constituency, Ebonyi State in the House of Representatives, Iduma Igariwey, has said the Federal Government funded all the projects he has attracted to the constituency.
Igariwey, who was reacting to social media posts by some critics that some Federal Government projects in the constituency have not been executed, said projects are not implemented when the Federal Government fails or refuses to fund them, as is the case concerning the 2024 & 2025 budgets.
He urged the critics to stop displaying ignorance, stressing that the Federal Government has not funded any capital projects in the 2025 budget, including the 2024 budget.

“This is common knowledge, which is why Nigerian contractors have been protesting. National Assembly members attract projects, it is left for the Federal Government to fund them for implementation.
“That’s the case with all the projects attracted by all Hon members both in the Senate and the House of Reps. They should be guided since they are ignorant of what is happening in the country.
“I have always announced to my constituents that it’s the Federal Government that funds all the projects that I attract. Projects are not implemented when the Federal Government fails or refuses to fund them, as is the case concerning the 2024 & 2025 budgets,” he stated.
