The Federal Government yesterday, approved a hike in the price of Premium Motor spirit(PMS)popularly called petrol from N568 per litre to N898 per liter.
The increase comes amid the much awaited roll out of petrol by Dangote Refinery(today).
Findings by Daily Sun across some major filling stations revealed widespread compliance by petroleum marketers.
At the Mobil filling station in Abule Egba, the pump price has reflected the change from N518 per litre on Monday to N865 on Tuesday.
Some of the marketers told Daily Sun that they have received directive to hike petrol price.
