Barcelona have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Spanish forward Ferran Torres in a deal worth €50m, according to reports.
The 26-year-old is set to leave the Catalan club after the two sides reached a final agreement on a fixed transfer fee with no additional bonuses or performance-related payments.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that the €50m figure is definitive, with Barcelona and PSG now working to complete the formal documentation for the transfer.
Torres is expected to sign a five-year contract with the French champions and could join his new teammates once the remaining formalities are completed.
The former Valencia forward had already asked Barcelona for permission to miss training on Wednesday as he prepared for the proposed move to Paris.
A medical examination in Paris is now the major step remaining before the transfer can be officially announced.
Torres joined Barcelona from Manchester City in January 2022 and went on to establish himself as an important member of the squad during his time at Camp Nou.
His departure will bring an end to his spell in Spain, with the forward now set to begin a new chapter in Ligue 1 under PSG.
The move also represents a significant piece of business for Barcelona as the club continues to reshape its squad and manage its finances.
For PSG, Torres provides another attacking option as the French side prepares for the new season and looks to maintain its dominance domestically while competing for major European honours.
