Fearless Energy Drink, a brand of Rite Foods Limited, has supported emerging musical talents through its sponsorship of the 2026 Felabration festival, which featured performances by upcoming and established artistes.
The brand, which participated as a major sponsor of the annual musical festival, supported music, rap and dance challenges that provided a platform for young performers to showcase their creativity and artistic abilities at the celebration of the life and legacy of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
The 2026 edition of Felabration, themed “Who Are You?” celebrated the spirit of self-expression, individuality and originality championed by Fela. These values align with Fearless Energy Drink’s brand philosophy, “I CAN, I AM,” which encourages individuals to embrace their uniqueness and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
Speaking on the brand’s participation, Brand Manager, Fearless Energy Drink, Olaniyi Aderuku, said Felabration provided an opportunity to connect the brand’s philosophy with a cultural platform that celebrates originality and creative expression.
He said the brand remains committed to engaging consumers through memorable experiences, particularly entertainment platforms that celebrate their interests and cultural heritage.
“Fearless is built around the spirit of ‘I CAN, I AM,’ believing in yourself, owning your individuality and having the confidence to express who you are. Felabration embodies much of that spirit.
“Fela was unapologetically himself and through his music, he encouraged people to question conventions and express their convictions. Supporting a festival that celebrates this legacy, while providing a platform for emerging talents, is a natural fit for Fearless,” Aderuku said.
He added that Fearless Energy Drink would continue to explore opportunities to connect with consumers through entertainment and cultural experiences that reflect the brand’s values and foster meaningful relationships with its audience.
The festival’s activities on Friday, October 16, featured a live concert at the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos, with performances by emerging artistes and established music stars.

Daughters of Dorcas International Foundation has renewed its call for an end to child marriage and greater investment in the rights, education and future of the girl child as it marked the 2026 International Day of the Girl Child with its annual Girls Rise Conference.
The conference, which was held recently in Bayelsa State, brought together professionals, advocates, speakers and young girls to address the challenges confronting girls and the urgent need to protect their rights and create opportunities for them to thrive.
Speaking at the event, themed “End Child Marriage; Invest in Her Rights,” the convener, Bolou-Ebi Esther Opukiri, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to its guiding mandate, “Teach, Touch and Transform,” stressing that every girl deserves the opportunity to grow up in safety, access quality education, discover her potential and make informed decisions about her future.
She noted that ending child marriage requires more than public awareness and advocacy, calling for deliberate and sustained action by parents, families, communities, institutions and policymakers to protect girls from harmful practices and uphold their fundamental rights.
According to her, investing in the girl child is essential to building stronger families and communities, adding that girls must be given the support, mentorship, education and opportunities they need to become confident, independent and productive members of society.
The conference featured a lineup of speakers, including Justice Doris Adokeme, Adetokunbo, Rume Ndokinta, Boma Tonye Miebai, Tabowei Ikoko Ebiye Lilian, Timipre Tobi Ebiringa and Camila Wisdom Pedrick. The event also featured a music ministration by Precious Oporomo.
