The Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State, has announced the appointment of Dr. Charles Obichere as the polytechnic librarian.
Obichere was a former public relations officer (PRO) of the institution. He hails from Awaka in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
He holds BLS, Library Studies, M.Sc., Library Science, and PhD in Library and Information Science. He is a member of the Nigerian Library Association, chartered librarian under Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).
Obichere has several honours to his credit, a certificate of recognition and commendation by Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, 2021; a certificate of merit from the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, 2015, and many others. He has numerous academic publications to his credit.
