Risk Based Approach to Financial Auditing,” a book by Mr. Wasiu Dolamu Akindele, will be launched on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, at 3 pm. Akindele is the Director, Audit, Office of the Auditor General for the Federation.
Dignitaries expected at the event include Dr Tukur Bello Ingawa, the chairman; Princess
Odulate Iyabode, the chairlady; Adolphus Aghughu, Auditor General of the Federation and father of the day; with Dr Folashade Esan, Head of Service of the Federation, as mother of the day.
Former governor, Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amos, is the chief launcher, and Oluwole Oke, Chairman, PAC, House of Representatives, is the co-launcher. Director, Operations, Nigerian Postal Services (NIPOST), Mrs Oluremi Oluwatoyin Egbesola, will also be in attendance.
Akindele graduated in Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State. He joined the Federal Civil Service in 1992. He is Fellow,C ertified National Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute ofT axation and Chartered Institute of Administration of Nigeria. He is
Certified Member, Computer Forensics Institute, Nigeria.
Akindele has held various positions and made working travels toc ountries like the UK, Republic of Ireland, Portugal, Spain, United Arab
Emirate, China, Ghana, Mali, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa,B urkina Faso, Ethiopia and Niger Republic.
He is also author of Questions and Answers on Public SectorA ccounting & Auditing and Rapid Success in Mathematics for SSS and Jamb Students.
