Low turnouts, and INEC officials delayed deployment were observed in parts of Nyanya on Saturday as voting commenced in the ongoing Area Council elections in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
At Area CII, behind Plot 125 in Nyanya, electoral officials were sighted at the polling unit, but only a handful of voters were present as of the time of filing this report.
However, in several other polling units across the Nyanya axis, prospective voters were seen waiting without the presence of officials from the (INEC).
