Renowned security expert, Chief Owolabi Ajayi, popularly known as S.O, has commended the conferment of the chieftaincy title of Aare Jagunmolu of Meran Kingdom on Chief Michael Fatoye by Oba Shakirudeen Adisa Kuti, Elewu of Ewu Kingdom.

Describing the honour as well-deserved and long overdue, Chief Ajayi praised Chief Fatoye’s unwavering commitment to community development, philanthropy and leadership.

Speaking at a press interaction in Lagos, Ajayi applauded the Elewu of Ewu Kingdom for recognising individuals, who have made meaningful contributions to societal progress.

He noted that Fatoye’s performance under the mentorship of the late Chief Teslim Adeola Almaroof, renowned estate consultant, was exceptional.

He emphasised that traditional institutions play a vital role in promoting excellence and rewarding selfless service.

He lauded Fatoye’s track record in both public and private sectors, highlighting his support for educational initiatives, youth empowerment and aid to less privileged families across Lagos and beyond.

He said the new Aare Jagunmolu has also played a critical role in promoting peace and security in Meran and neighbouring communities by working closely with local vigilante groups and traditional leaders.

He stated that the title Aare Jagunmolu, historically associated with leadership, bravery and service, perfectly suits Chief Fatoye, whose life has been marked by resilience, generosity and a deep commitment to communal welfare.

He urged young Nigerians to emulate Fatoye’s values of integrity, hard work and service, stating that true societal transformation begins with personal dedication to the common good.
