Father, daughter cherish opportunity to race at Okpekpe

To the former chairman of Warri Wolves, Moses Etu and his daughter, Maryjane Ruona Etu, it a big privilege to participate at the Okpekpe international 10km road race last Saturday.

Maryjane, a Nursing student of Edo State University, Uzaire, Edo State, said, “It has been he dream to participate at the Okpekpe race” and praised former Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for midwifing the race during his term as the governor.

“I want to thank former governor, Adams Oshiomhole for bringing joy to the village,” Maryjane said, and vowed to mobilise other students for next year’s edition.

Her father, Moses, expressed delight that her daughter finds much joy participating at the Okpekpe race, stressing she will continue to encourage her to participate in the race and other activities that make her happy.
