Nigerian vocalist and multidisciplinary creative, Jeremiah Abiola Fasipe, has been honoured with the Best Vocal Performance award at the 2026 Eko Heritage Awards. The award was presented during the sixth edition of the ceremony held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, on July 25, recognising individuals making significant contributions to Nigeria’s media, business and entertainment sectors.
Currently based in Sheffield, United Kingdom, Fasipe was recognised for his outstanding vocal ability and his commitment to promoting culture and social impact through music.
Beyond his music career, he is a broadcaster, community leader and founder of the Jeremiah Abiola Health and Community Development Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to youth empowerment through vocational skills and community development initiatives.
Fasipe is also the presenter of a French-language programme on African Voices Platform Radio, where he promotes African culture, music and intercultural dialogue.
Reacting to the recognition, Fasipe described the award as another milestone in his journey of artistic excellence, cultural representation and community service.
