The Sokonte Davies Campaign Team and supporters of former House of Representatives member, Farah Dagogo, have described his emergence as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for Rivers State as a testament of trust and confidence reposed in him by the party.
Team leader, Sokonte Davies, while congratulating Dagogo on his emergence, also declared full support for Atiku Abubakar for the presidency, saying the former vice president possesses the experience, vision and national stature to lead the country.

Davies commended Dagogo for his perseverance and commitment to the ideals of the party, pledging the campaign team’s resolve to work for the success of the ADC in the 2027 general elections.
He stated: “Dr Dagogo’s victory at the primaries is a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in him by the delegates of our great party. We stand ready to work together for the success of the party in the 2027 general elections.”
Davies called on ADC members, stakeholders and lovers of democracy across Rivers State and Nigeria to rally behind both candidacies for the good of citizens and the future of the country, declaring: “The journey to rescue and rebuild Rivers State begins now.”
