Ambassador-designate to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode has mocked the David Mark-led National Working Committee (NWC) over its derecognition by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The electoral umpire hinged its decision on a court order which directed the commission to maintain the status quo pending the determination of a suit challenging the legality of David Mark’s leadership of the opposition party.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Fani-Kayode said the development showed the ADC has been rejected.

“They have been REJECTED by the courts, REJECTED by INEC, REJECTED by their original founders and REJECTED by the Nigerian people for being erratic, unstable, unreliable,” he said.

He advised prominent politicians on the platform to channel all their energy to building up and forming a real opposition party over the next five years and then field a candidate for the 2031 presidential election.

“They can’t even form a party and hold it together yet they want to rule Nigeria? God forbid!” Fani-Kayode stated.
