Member, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Abioduu Faleke has empowered over 5000 members of his constituency.
This was during the annual Abiodun Faleke Empowerment programme held at the the Nigeria Police College, Ikeja, Lagos.
Described one of the biggest and most impactful empowerment programmes, ever put together by a politician, beneficiaries included religious leaders, artisans and petty traders.
They received items ranging from tricycles, to mini-buses, cars, delivery motorcycles, grinding machines, juice making machines, freezers and generators, as well as phone repair kits, and industrial sewing machines.
Traditional rulers, security agencies and local health centres in the Ikeja Federal Constituency were also captured, as they received luxury jeeps, vans and well-equipped health buses.
One of the beneficiaries, Sule Wahab, who received a mini-bus, expressed gratitude for the gift, which he admitted, would change his fortunes for the better.
Other beneficiaries thanked the people’s oriented group, YP4T, for making them to be among of the beneficiaries.
The YP4T, a group of young and patriotic professional Nigerians, has been strong supporters and believers in such initiatives as the Faleke’s empowerment programme, which is line with the welfarist policies of the government of President Bola Tinubu.
