Falcon Corporation Limited, an indigenous natural gas distribution company, has received a long-service partnership award from NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML) in recognition of more than two decades of collaboration in Nigeria’s domestic gas industry.

The award highlights the enduring relationship between the two companies and their contributions to expanding natural gas utilisation among industrial and commercial customers.

NGML, a subsidiary of NNPC Limited, responsible for marketing and distributing natural gas to industrial, commercial and power customers across Nigeria, recognised Falcon’s record of operational reliability, safety, transparency and professionalism, as well as its commitment to growing gas utilisation in Nigeria.

Presenting the award on behalf of NGML’s Managing Director, Declan Nwokoro, Peter Kwaji, Deputy Manager, Marketing and Market Expansion, South-West Zone, said Falcon had remained a dependable partner throughout the more than 20-year relationship.

He said the company’s consistent performance and dedication to safety and accountability had established it as one of NGML’s leading and long-standing customers. The recognition, he added, reflected a partnership that had delivered tangible value to both organisations, expressing optimism about further collaboration and growth. Receiving the award on behalf of Falcon, its Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Audrey Joe-Ezigbo, said the recognition reflected the commitment of both companies to sustaining a relationship that had endured for more than two decades.

She commended NGML for its support and collaboration, noting that the partnership had contributed to the growth of both businesses.

Joe-Ezigbo said Falcon viewed its investments in the gas sector as a contribution to national development, given the importance of natural gas to industrial expansion, energy security and economic prosperity.

“At Falcon, we regard our gas footprint and investments as a national service first. Gas is central to Nigeria’s industrial growth, energy security and prosperity,” she said.

She added that both companies would continue working to deepen gas utilisation and expand opportunities across Nigeria’s gas industry.

Founded in 1994, Falcon operates in Nigeria’s midstream and downstream energy sectors, supplying natural gas to industrial and commercial customers in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Through its subsidiary, Optimera Energy LFZE, the company is also extending its gas distribution operations into the Lagos Free Zone.

Falcon has further expanded into the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) market through trading, distribution and infrastructure investments, including an LPG tank farm and jetty facility.
