The 10th anniversary of Face of Ajegunle beauty pageant, where winners will go home with mouthwatering prizes, will hold on December 15, 2024.
According to the founder/CEO, Face of Ajegunle, Lucy Akaedu, the pageant has been designed to give total education to the girl child in Ajegunle, as a tool to increase economic growth.
“Face of Ajegunle is an institution aimed at transforming and improving the lives of young girls in the Ajegunle community. Since 2014, it has trained, groomed and raised over 2,000 girls through pageantry, skill acquisition, leadership training, community development and seminars.
“The institution has grown with a landmark success over the last nine years, as it is quickly defined by the Ajegunle people as the surest platform for the Ajegunle girl development, and undoubtedly the number one promising grassroots brand for sustainable impact and community transformation in Lagos Mainland,” she said.
The event will be graced by eminent personalities like Oba Mohammed Moroof Amodu-Tijani Oluwa, the Olu of Iwa and Apapa, Olawale Haruna Ariyo, CEO, Single Soul Engineering, Chief Obinna Nwaka, Director General, CYMS, and Prof. Babatunde Bernard, Senior Technical Advisor, SGF, Abuja, as Special Guest of Honour.
