Ezina, newly appointed Director Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center, assumes office

The newly appointed director for the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), CP Akaninyene Ezima, has assumed office.

 

He takes over from the pioneer Director, AIG Uche Ifeanyi Henry, PhD, who was recently promoted and redeployed as Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the Department of Training and Development, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

 

Until his appointment, Ezima, served as Commissioner of Police, Force Intelligence Department Annex, Lagos.

He enlisted into the Nigerian Police Force on 18th May 1992 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP). With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, he has served with unwavering dedication and professionalism across several key commands and formations within and outside the Force.

CP Ezima, who served as Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 17 CID Akure, was a one time Zonal Head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Ibadan,Lagos, Benin and Kano Zones earning commendations for his impactful anti-corruption drive.
