Toga Fashion House Managing Director, Valentine Obienyem recruited Ekene just four months after it began operations, and under his strategic leadership, the company’s customer base grew from 50 to over 6,000 loyal returning customers, enabling Toga to break even and secure its dominance in the fashion industry.

When Ekene assumed the responsibility of brand management, Toga was relatively known for quality production but needed a distinct identity that could translate into sustainable market dominance. With a keen eye for market trends and consumer behavior, he repositioned the brand into one that was not just selling fashion but also selling speed, convenience, and lifestyle. His strategic campaigns, powered largely by direct referrals, built an extraordinary reputation that distinguished Toga in the region’s highly competitive fashion industry.

Through his innovative marketing initiatives, Ekene orchestrated an operational breakthrough that set Toga Fashion House apart: the capacity to produce bespoke clothes, vintage designs for unisex shirts within 24 hours. This level of efficiency, uncommon in Nigeria’s fashion space, revolutionized customer experience by merging style with speed. Eventually Toga became a major supplier to Roban Stores. It also created a ripple effect in customer satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals, giving the brand a stronghold on the Southeast fashion market. Under his guidance, Toga did not just become a household name, it became the benchmark for excellence and efficiency in the Nigerian fashion ecosystem.

Beyond fashion, Ekene Prosper Ezeumeanya has equally made a profound impact in the healthcare sector. As a health information brand consultant for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Awka, he has been instrumental in reshaping how the institution communicates, engages, and delivers critical information to the public.
