High Chief Stanley Chukwudi Obodoagwu (Ezeudo Gburugburu of Ihiala) was on January 1, 2023 thrown his weight behind the presidential bid of Mr Peter Obi and Sir Obinna Uzoh for Senator Representing Anambra Senatorial Zone in Anambra State. This was exhibited on the massively mounted billboards of Mr Peter Obi and Obinna Uzoh on the 7 Local Government that Make Up the Anambra South Senatorial Zones and other campaigning materials worth millions of naira. Indeed this is a selfless services towards delivering our people from bad governance.
Granting interview to newsmedia, High Chief Ezeudo Gburugburu, a great philanthropist and a business mogul from Ihiala in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra state said that he has never been interested in politics but after checking the track record of the duo of Mr Peter Obi and Sir Obinna Uzoh has decided to mobilise for them to achieve their presidential and Senatorial bid respectively.
He went further to state that the duo are Synonymous in capacity, character and service delivery referencing their track records. He said that Ihiala LG being the only Local Government in Anambra South Senatorial Zone that has never been to senate since the creation of old and new Anambra deserve to be there. In his word, the time is now. And most importantly that candidate the Ihiala LG is presenting is of quality and capacity personified. He therefore call on the people of Anambra South to vote massively to Obinna Uzoh for Senate and Peter Obi for President.
