The Eze Ndigbo Ifako Ijaiye, Eze Michael Ezekwobi (Oyiomanatumba Ndigbo Gbagburugburu), has called on the Federal Government to evolve policies that would entrench good governance in the country.

A statement by the royal father said that with the hardship in the land, it was time for the government to look inward and arrange for a palliative that would help alleviate the suffering of the masses.

While commending the Federal Government for ensuring that Nigerians enjoyed the Yuletide without fuel scarcity, Ezekwobi urged the Federal Government to ensure that there won’t be a hike in fuel pump price as is being rumoured across the land.

On killings in Plateau State, Ezekwobi called on the federal and state governments to look inwards and find permanent solutions to the crisis.

He tasked the Federal Government on poverty alleviation, adequate security, and affordable healthcare, adding that if these measures were taken, Nigerians would smile in 2024.
