The Federal Character Commissioner representing Enugu State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Peter Eze, has mobilised thousands of youths across the state for an opportunity-focused engagement aimed at connecting them with jobs, skills and career opportunities.
The programme, tagged “Peter Eze youth connect 2026,” is scheduled to hold on Thursday, at the International Conference Centre, Enugu.
Eze, in a statement issued yesterday said the initiative was designed to create a practical platform where young people could gain access to employment, training, education, career development, and other opportunities. He said the event, themed “Beyond quotas: Unlocking opportunities for Enugu youths through the Federal Character Commission,” would also expose participants to the workings of the Federal Character Commission and how youths could better position themselves to benefit from available opportunities.

“The countdown has begun to the much-anticipated Peter Eze Youth Connect 2026, with just three days to the event scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10am, at the International Conference Centre, Enugu. The youth-focused initiative is designed to create a practical platform through which young people can connect with opportunities and gain the knowledge required to access them,” he said.
Eze stressed that the programme was not designed as a platform focused solely on him as an individual, but as an avenue to open up pathways for young people across the state. He said his focus was on identifying and unlocking opportunities for Enugu youths, particularly in employment, skills training, education, exposure, and career development.
“My approach is driven by a firm belief in the potential of Nigerian youths and the need to move beyond rhetoric by creating practical pathways through which young people can access opportunities and improve their lives,” Eze said.
