The Eze-Igbo Ghana and Assistant Publicity Secretary, Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora, HRM Eze Dr Chukwudi Ihenetu has joined other eminent Nigerians at home and the Diaspora to congratulate Dr Ijeoma Akunyili, daughter of the late Prof. Dora Akunyili who was the Director- General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control of Nigeria from 2001 to 2008.
In a statement signed from the revered Obi-Ukwu Obieziiokwu palace in Ghana, HRM Dr Ihenetu a global peace ambassador said appointment of Dr Ijeoma Akunyili as Chief Medical Officer(CMO) in the US is not only a boost to Nigerians in the Diaspora but also an evidence that indeed great and precious things can come out of Nigeria.
While commending Nigerian professionals in the Diaspora for making the nation proud among committee of nations, the Umuduruoha Amaigbo Nwangele Imo state-born Royal.father, HRM Ihenetu who recently won Champions Newspapers 2021 Diaspora personality awards said Ndigbo in Ghana has continued to contribute their quota by being law abiding and contributing to the growth of the economy of their host country Ghana and their home country Nigeria.
