Excitement greeted the arrival of the Labour Party’s (LP), Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi to a Town Hall meetings with youths and academics in Maiduguri on Saturday.
An excited crowd of youths burst into singing, clapping and dancing as soon as the LP candidate arrived the hall with his running mate, Sen Yusuf Daiti
The hall was electrified as Obi joined the excited youths in dancing.
He urged the youths not to buy into campaigns based on ethnic or religious biases.
“The bread seller will not lower price for you because of your religion or tribe. We have problem of security, economy, education, unemployment and these are what we’ve come to fix,” he said.
