The former Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on National Security and Intelligence, Sha’aban Sharada, has lauded the immediate past speaker, Femi Gbjabimiala, for successes as the leader of the ninth House.

Sharada, who is now the Executive Secretary, Almajirai And Out Of School Children Commission, expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff and rallying support for Tajudeen Abbas to emerge as the speaker of the 10th House.

The former lawmaker, while applauding Gbajabiamila for his commitment to the discharge of his duties, as speaker, expressed confidence that the latter will discharge the duties of his new office creditably.

He recalled how the former speaker supported him to ensure the success of his assignment as chairman of the House Committee on National Security and Intelligence, in the last assembly.

According to him, “I am convinced that his conciliatory approach, which he exhibited as the Speaker of the 9th Assembly, House of Representatives, will continue to manifest as the Chief of Staff to the President.

“His unwavering commitment, resilience, patience, and compassion will undoubtedly yield positive results, enabling him to bridge the gaps and harmoniously administer governmental affairs between the executive, legislature, judiciary, state governments, and labour unions.”

Sharada, who expressed appreciation to his constituents in Kano Municipal, for electing him as their representative in the ninth assembly, reiterated his “unwavering loyalty and commitment” in his new responsibility as the Executive Secretary of the Almajirai and Out-of-School Children Commission.
