A former Chairman of Ngaski Local Government Area of Kebbi State, Hon. Hassan  Garba Warra, has regained freedom from the bandits who kidnapped him three weeks ago.

Warra was kidnapped along Tegina-Zuggeru Highway in Niger State on his way to Abuja.

According to sources, Warra was travelling in his personal vehicle but later decided to board a commercial vehicle and ordered his driver to return home.

It was gathered that the commercial vehicle Warra boarded along with other passengers were attacked by bandits. He was marched into the bush with other passengers.

However, Warra was sighted at Kontagora, Niger State, on Friday with two of his relatives who were taking him back to be reunited with his family after his release by the bandits.

In a brief chat, Warra said he could not say anything for now until he fully settled down.
