Ex Kebbi Gov urges youths to embrace farming, shun violence

Former Governor of Kebbi State and Senator, representing Kebbi Central Senatorial district, Senator Adamu Aliero, has urged youths of the state to embrace farming and shun crisis.

Aliero, who returned to the state from Germany, on Monday, where he went for medical treatment, said the only solution for youths unemployment is for them to go back to farms and make use of the Federal government agriculture revolution opportunities made available for them.

The former Governor said President Muhammad Buhari’s administration was committed to agriculture revolution especially plantation of rice and other grains stressed that Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of the state was even made Chairman of Rice producing states in the country which should served as motivation for them.

While appealing to APC supporters to shun leaderships crisis, Aliero said their unity would enable the party to perform excellent in 2019 general elections.

He said all of them should not involve in leaderships crisis adding that their leaders need their support and prayer to succeed.

Speaking with journalists at the reception for the former Governor, Chairman Elders Forum, and Chairman of reconciliatory Committee of APC, Alhaji Sani Zoro, described the crowds at Aliero’s house as a sign of unity in the party added that if the party continue like that, it would perform very well.
