Former Beauty Queen turned Fashion Designer, Stephanie CHIORI’s Women Clothing Brand, Khavhia Woman, has emerged as the women’s designer of the year at the 2021 edition of the La Mode Awards held October 1 in Lagos.
In keen contest; Stephanie’s Haute Couture brand ‘ Khavhia Woman’ clinched the prestigious award as a result of her love for classy, bespoke female collections.
The Former Beauty Queen and winner of the 2016 edition of the Face of the World Pageant in Birmingham, United Kingdom and Sisi Oge 2012 disclosed that the recognition is a symbol that the brand is doing something unique and commendable in the fashion industry.
She said’ this is not just an award for me alone but for the entire team who have been working tirelessly in bringing out several distinctive outfits and also a call to us all that we need to do more positive work as a brand.
However aside her love for fashion; Stephaine
has also played acting roles in Nollywood movies like Lamine and Eight, both Produced by Kayode Peters, a TV series Karma, showing on DSTV and Produced a 13 Minute anti rape story about a girl raped by her father titled Crushed. She also has NGO called Women For Leadership and Development Initiative that supports women in all areas of life to help them become better leaders in the society, one of their projects, Cool Girl Votes encourages women to be fully involved in politics by participating on all fronts, from voting to contesting for key political positions.
