A former Secretary to the Anambra State Government (SSG), Mr. Oseloka Obaze, has thrown his weight and support behind the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr. John Nwosu, for the Saturday, November 8, governorship election in the state.
Obaze declared his stance with Nwosu when the ADC candidate and members of his campaign team visited him in his Ochuche country home in the Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state ahead of the polls yesterday.
Welcoming the ADC candidate, Obaze eulogised his humility, integrity, foresight, and vision to transform Anambra State into an enviable status in the committee of other states in the country.
The ex-state scribe said that although he is currently a non-card-carrying member of any political party, as a bona fide citizen of the state, he owes it as a crucial responsibility to contribute to the good governance of the state.
“You are a man of reputable integrity, and your vision to develop this state to her desired status is not in doubt. So, I wish you a successful outing in the governorship election,” Obaze told Nwosu.

The ADC candidate described Obaze’s endorsement of his ambition as a huge encouragement to him.
He said, “Chief Obaze’s friendship, unalloyed support, and camaraderie are highly valued.
“His unambiguous endorsement of my candidacy is a high mark of courage, loyalty, frankness, and true friendship. I’m indebted to him.”
“As this campaign winds down, I sincerely hope that the Anambra elite and their followers will put the interests of Ndi Anambra first and not personal interests in deciding how to vote.
“We must rise above transactional politics that impact negatively on the overall sustainable development of Anambra State. I encourage our people to vote for ADC as the credible alternative,” Nwosu urged.
