The league phase of this year’s Champions League was concluded on Thursday night.
All the 18 games were played simultaneously around Europe.
At the end of the night, eight teams had been confirmed for the Round of 16, and 16 teams will face off in the knockout rounds. Lazio, Athletic Club, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Frankfurt, Lyon, Olympiacos, and Rangers are the clubs that have automatically advanced to the Round of 16.

The following teams have been confirmed for the knockout phase play-offs: Bodo/Glimt, Anderlecht, FCSB, Ajax, Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, Roma, Viktoria Plzen, Ferencvaros, Porto, AZ Alkmaar, Midtjylland, Union SG, PAOK, Twente, Fenerbahce.
However, Braga, Elfsborg, Hoffenheim, Besiktas, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Slavia Praha, Malmo, RFS, Ludogorets, Dynamo Kyiv, Nice and Qarabag have all been eliminated.
The 2024/2025 UEFA Europa League knockout phase play-off will hold from 13:00 CET on Friday 31 January.
