Enyimba legend and former Ghanaian International, Joetex Frimpong, has described the prestigious Eunisell Boot Award for Highest Goal Scorer, as the catalyst for growth in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
Introduced in 2018 by Eunisell, Nigerian International, Junior Lokosa, won the Eunisell Boot at a five-star event in Lagos, after emerging top scorer with 19 goals.
“The Eunisell Boot is massive motivation for success. Eunisell should be celebrated for deploying resources to celebrating players, elevating their profiles through massive publicity and also introducing financial rewards.
“I expect the race for the Eunisell Boot to be more competitive this term. Players should do more during training and make match days interesting for fans to always look forward to the next match day.
“Moreover, the fact that Eunisell is championing the call for private sector participation in the NPFL is an indication of their commitment. Eunisell remains the most consistent sponsor since 2015,” he stated.
