The Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has received the traditional ruler of Lokpanta community of Abia State, Igwe Ifeanyi Eke, and the Managing Director of MallamFigo Entertainment, Prince Ifeanyi Kelechukwu, in his palace in Niger State.
The visit was aimed at deepening cordial ties and fostering greater collaboration between the Eastern and Northern royalties.
Speaking during the meeting, Eke emphasised the need for stronger unity among traditional rulers across the country. “Our cultures may be different, but our values of peace, respect and progress are the same.

“By strengthening ties between our royal institutions, we are not only promoting cultural integration, we are also laying a foundation for greater development and peaceful coexistence,” he said.
Prince Kelechukwu, on his part, described the visit as a bridge-building effort that carries symbolic weight. “This is more than a courtesy call; it is a statement that traditional rulers remain vital in uniting our people. “Through partnerships in business, entertainment and community service, we can encourage growth and bring our regions closer,” he said.
Welcoming the delegation, the Etsu Nupe described the move as a step towards reinforcing harmony among Nigeria’s diverse cultures and pledged his support for initiatives that foster inter-regional cooperation.
