Jamie Carragher, a former Liverpool defender, claims that Manchester United has refused to fire Ruben Amorim as manager due to “mistakes” the club has made.
Carragher made this statement when appearing on Monday Night Football.
He was analysing United’s 3-1 loss to Brentford, which places them 14th in the Premier League rankings.
Amorim has now picked up only 34 points from his 33 games in charge.

“I think he is still in a job because I think the powers that be at Manchester United have made that many mistakes so far,” Carragher said.
“With the decisions they have made on and off the pitch, they do not want to admit right now that they have made another.”
Amorim will be looking to pick up all three points when they host Sunderland this weekend.
