Barcelona forward, Marcus Rashford has ruled out returning to Manchester United this summer.

This follows reports last week that Manchester United caretaker boss Michael Carrick wants Rashford to return to Old Trafford if he is named permanent manager at the conclusion of the season.

But, according to the Daily Mirror, Rashford has “no intention” of returning to Manchester United at the end of the season.

The England international believes his future lies away from the Red Devils and has informed Barcelona of his desire to stay put at the Catalan club.

Rashford is currently on a season-long loan at Barcelona from Man United.

The 28-year-old is expected to explore other avenues should Barcelona decide not to sign him permanently, rather than return to United.
