Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has emerged as one of the forwards Arsenal could target during this summer transfer window.
According to the UK Telegraph, the Nigerian international is among the options being considered by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, although he ranks behind Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez on the club’s wishlist.
Alvarez is reportedly Arteta’s preferred target as Arsenal look to strengthen their attack ahead of the new season.
But the LaLiga side have slapped a £100m-plus valuation on the Argentina international and that has proved to be prohibitive to Arsenal so far.
It is understood that the Gunners could consider switching targets.
Osimhen has proven himself to be one of Europe’s top strikers at Napoli and Galatasaray.
But it remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal will pursue a move for the 27-year-old.
