Manchester United will pay manager Rúben Amorim a £12 million compensation fee if he is fired, according to the Daily Mail.
Amorim is under mounting pressure at Old Trafford after only ten months in charge.
Although United remains supportive of the 40-year-old, the club’s administration may be obliged to take action if results do not improve.

Otherwise, the Red Devils would have to pay Amorim off.
Amorim’s current contract expires in the summer of 2027, after he joined the Premier League club in November 2024.
United have endured their worst start to a season in 33 years, having picked up just four points in four games under Amorim’s watch.
