Manchester United defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Old Trafford in the round 25 of the 2025-2026 Premier League season.
This is their fourth consecutive league victory.
With three more points, Manchester United earned significant boost in the race among the top teams.
Right after kickoff Manchester United unsettled Tottenham’s defense with a quick tempo, and Casemiro’s long-range shot was followed by consecutive attempts from Cunha and Bruno Fernandes.
Tottenham rarely found a way through Man United’s defense, marshaled by Lisandro Martínez and Harry Maguire.

The turning point came in the middle of the first half when Cristian Romero kicked Casemiro’s ankle during a challenge, and the referee immediately showed a red card.

Bryan Mbeumo put United in front after 38 minutes at Old Trafford when he applied a brilliant finish to a superb corner routine involving Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo.
Fernandes wrapped up the win late on as he turned home Diogo Dalot’s inswinging cross.
The result means Tottenham have now gone seven Premier League games without a win, a run that has yielded just four points and leaves them 14th and too close to the relegation places for comfort.
