Liverpool have reached an agreement with Barcelona to sign Ronald Araujo on loan.
The deal, which is expected to be completed this weekend, will see the 27-year-old defender join the Premier League club on a straight loan.
Araujo renewed his contract with Barcelona last year, extending his stay at the Catalan club until 2031.

However, the Uruguay international endured a difficult campaign last season and was subsequently granted an extended leave from the team.
Liverpool are now set to provide Araujo with a fresh opportunity as he looks to regain his form and establish himself at the Premier League club.
Araujo joined Barcelona from Uruguayan side, Boston River in 2018, before being promoted to the first team in 2019.
