Liverpool defeated Manchester City 2-0 in the Super Sunday Premier League match.

The Reds entered the game eight points ahead of the champs.

They subsequently took the lead when Cody Gakpo converted Mohamed Salah’s low cross.

Despite City’s efforts to battle back in the second half, Liverpool scored again.

Salah converted the penalty after goalkeeper Ortega Moreno fouled Luis Diaz in the area.

Arne Slot’s men presently lead the log with 34 points.

They are nine points ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea, who each defeated West Ham and Aston Villa this weekend.
