… As Man City, Arsenal clash

Two Super Eagles attackers, Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi would on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium, lock horns with one another when Manchester City takes on Arsenal in another English Premiership League (EPL) title chase.
Indeed, the chase is so hot that there seem not to be a super favourite for the title.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool occupy the top four positions on the log but Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are on their shoulders.
Last week, Iheanacho’s Man City – led attack were thrashed 4-2 by league champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium and a week before that encounter, they were beaten 1-3 by Chelsea.
Iheanacho, who stepped into the shoes of banned Sergio Aguero was unable to score and had to be substituted by ex- Cote d’ Ivoire international Yaya Toure whose spark saw his side score two goals.
Tomorrow, Iheanacho would attempt to rediscover his scoring power as he meets Iwobi on the Arsenal side.
Iwobi, it was who scored one of the goals that temporally sent the Gunners on top of the league at the weekend.
The 20-year-old has been one of Arsenal’s leading lights this season, playing superbly on the left of Arsenal’s attacking front line.
He scored his first ever senior international goal to open the scoring in Ndola, Zambia, during the Super Eagles World Cup qualification match, finding the back of the net with a half-volley in the 32nd minute.
Iwobi only made his debut for Arsenal a year ago, in the League Cup.
Now, he is a regular in the starting XI for Arsene Wenger’s title chase.
He has improved a lot, and has ousted Alex Oxlade – Chamberlain.
No doubt, Wenger will unleash the 20-year-old on Manchester City tomorrow and the young lad is set to start for Arsenal as they travel to Etihad.
But Iheanacho says he is unperturbed. Manchester City have lost two of their last four Premiership games and would want to put up a good fight against rampaging Arsenal.
In the absence of their Argentine goals machine, Aguero; Iheanacho still remains the man to bail the Citizens from their predicament and the young lad believes he still has the magic wand to turn the table against Arsenal.
“The Premiership title is still very open. But we must ensure that we keep winning our remaining games. Whenever I am featured, I will do my best to score. I know that the game against Arsenal would be tough, but I am very optimistic that we will win”, he stated.
