Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager, has admitted that a change in momentum caused his team to lose points at Tottenham Hotspur.
Guardiola’s side drew 2-2 in North London on Sunday, despite having a two-goal lead into the halftime.
Ryan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo scored for Man City before a second-half brace saw Spurs earn a point.

When asked about the game, Guardiola said: “They put more in the back, they found a goal and after that the momentum happened.
“Some transitions the control they had we didn’t have. It was not a big issue.”
On if the draw is a blow to the title race, Guardiola added: “We are playing at a high level.
“We didn’t have the consistency to win the games when others were able to do it, 14 games it a lot of games. Six points [gap to Arsenal]. Next one.”
