Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reacted to Liam Rosenior’s dismissal at Chelsea.

Rosenior was fired as Chelsea’s head coach on Wednesday, following the Blues’ 3-0 Premier League loss to Brighton on Sunday.

Reacting, Guardiola said he was sorry that Rosenior was sacked.

The Spaniard also noted that the 41-year-old Englishman is a top-tier manager.

When asked about Rosenior’s dismissal, Guardiola remarked in his post-match news conference after Man City defeated Burnley 1-0 on Wednesday night (as reported by Beanyman Sports), “I’m very sorry. I’m pretty sure he is a manager for that level.

“Always when this happens, I always think about how lucky, again, I am to be in the club where I am.”
