Manchester United defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night, with Matheus Cunha scoring the winning goal following superb work from Bruno Fernandes.
The Brazilian’s strike in the first half was sufficient to secure a vital victory, significantly enhancing United’s prospects of returning to Champions League football next season.
Fernandes’ assist was his 18th in the Premier League this campaign, leaving him just two shy of the competition’s all-time single-season record.
